How our cleaners stand out from the rest

How our cleaners stand out from the rest

Ever since we launched Koala Eco with our Natural Multi-Purpose Kitchen Cleaner, we’ve prided ourselves on making products that not only are people, planet and pet-friendly but also actually work: safely, reliably, and efficiently. And because of the 100% pure essential oils from Australian native botanicals, our cleaners also smell absolutely divine and, depending on the combinations of oils used, can help to soothe or energise the mood of the person using them.

If this all sounds too good to be true, take a more in-depth look at the reasons why Koala Eco products are a way better choice than synthetic cleaners:

Nature’s cleaning superpower: the essential oils from botanicals like eucalyptus, lemon myrtle, peppermint and rosemary contain powerful antibacterial properties. Essential oils like these—carefully sourced from ethical and sustainable growers—are the key ingredients in our cleaners. Their ability to combat dirt, grime, and germs is enhanced by the other planet-friendly ingredients we use, such as plant-derived surfactants and sugar-based alcohol, making our formulas (many of which are concentrate) ready for action, straight from their rPET bottles.

Scientifically researched, scientifically tested: we work with our trusted in-house chemist who has over 45 years of experience, meaning robust scientific research goes into every formula we produce. Not only that, we make sure our surface cleaner products are independently lab-tested. They also have up to 15 times the active ingredients of dissolvable tablets and sachets.

No compromise on safety: our cleaning products meet rigorous safety standards. We are certified toxic-free, made-safe, allergy-certified, vegan and cruelty-free. Unlike conventional cleaners laden with harsh toxins, our products are free from sulphates (SLS, SLES, SCS), triclosan, parabens, phosphates, formaldehyde, MEA, DEA, TEA, chlorine, petrochemicals, animal by-products, allergens, dyes, caustics, and synthetic fragrances and perfumes.

Yes, that’s right, NO synthetic fragrances or perfumes: because they are totally unnecessary! Our products smell only of the 100% pure and natural essential oils we use: aromas with therapeutic benefits that can turn a cleaning chore into a really pleasurable, sensory experience. Why endure acidic, throat-catching smells when it’s possible to choose a genuinely effective and naturally fragrant alternative?

As small an ecological footprint as possible: we try our hardest to contribute to making a cleaner and greener world. All our products are locally made, and bottled and shipped in recyclable packaging. Thanks to our use of rPET plastic—something we worked hard to achieve—we don’t cause any new plastic bottles to be made. We also offer refills, concentrates and glass options.

Our community of customers: people who choose Koala Eco keep choosing us because our products deliver such outstanding results. We’ve built trust and loyalty because we’re sincerely committed to helping people live cleaner and greener lives. Our mantra, More Nature, Feel Better is not just about the reassurance that comes with safe, natural products; it’s also about the feel-good benefits of creating clean homes with a clean conscience.
